A pair of sub-adult Roseate Spoonbills visit a marsh pond well outside of their usual territorial range. Other spoonbills were spotted along mid-Atlantic coastal areas similarly outside of their ranges during the same period. It is speculated the birds were blown or pushed north by a recent hurricane. After several weeks the birds left, presumably for their usual homes. (Alexandria, VA)
